Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, known as the “world’s largest reception hall”, is located in the deep zone of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the Pearl River Delta, and the Exhibition New City area at the intersection of Shiziyang and Inner Lingding Ocean. It is an important engine for the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to layout the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It was officially opened on November 4, 2019. Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center covers a total area of about 1.48 million square meters, with a total indoor exhibition area of about 500,000 square meters. The total area of the first phase of the project is about 1.214 million square meters, the total construction area of the first phase is 1.6 million square meters, and the indoor exhibition area is about 400,000 square meters.
